Bats (and other FAQs)
Every year, we get questions about bats.
From the Little League website:
Little League® International has assembled an online resource page dedicated to baseball bat information, that includes the latest bat information, current Little League Baseball® rules and regulations governing bats, and a series of frequently asked questions.
As of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard was implemented. USABat Standard bats must be used in the Little League Major Baseball Division and below. Either USABat Standard bats or BBCOR bats must be used at the Intermediate (50/70) Baseball and Junior League Baseball Divisions. At the Senior League Baseball Division, all bats must meet the BBCOR standard. Little League-approved baseball bats that were approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity as of January 1, 2018. For more information on the USABat standard and a complete list of bats approved through the USABat Standard, visit usabat.com.

Player Pool (for Minors and up)
Does your athlete want more playing time? Of course, they do.
Please sign them up for the 2025 Player Pool (LINK COMING SOON) — a voluntary list of Little League players who will be given an occasional opportunity to play as a substitute player for teams that have fewer than 9 players available for an upcoming game.
We encourage all families to sign their players up for this Player Pool List. It will not obligate your player to participate in any additional games, but it will allow them to play when an opportunity arises.
Note: Some special rules govern how a Player Pool Player can be fielded/batted during a recruiting team’s Manager. On offense, the pool player must bat last in the batting order. On defense, the pool player can only play an outfield position.
Despite these limitations, pool play is a fun opportunity for our players to play in various settings, to play alongside more of their neighborhood friends, to get experience with different coaches, and ultimately to get more playing time in scored baseball games!
