Volunteers

Attention All 2018 Arden Little League Volunteers:

Arden Little League is built on volunteers to connect our community and enrich our children. All parents are required to volunteer for 4 hours throughout the season per child, or a non-volunteer fee of $100 may be assessed to your account. Upon registration, parents will be required to select a volunteer position. Please remember if you volunteered for any of these tasks, you are responsible to attend the appropriate events and clinics, if necessary. If you can not fulfill your duty for a certain position, then you are responible to inquire and attend other events, such as field preparation weekend, pancake breakfast, etc.

All Arden Board Members, Managers, and Coaches have been trained through PCA. Our goal is to bring along all parents in Arden Little League with PCA's guiding philosophy - Better Athletes, Better People. We hope your participation will help our league spread the Positive Coaching message to all of Arden Little League's players and fans. Stay posted for any other Team Parent meetings.

The Arden Little League snack bar is looking for recruits to add to the snack bar substitute contact list.  If your child is interested in being added to the substitute list, your child will need to attend 
one of the four mandatory registration and orientation sessions.  If you child has volunteered the past, they still need to attend one of these sessions. The sessions will be held at the Arden Little League snack bar.

  • February 10th - 11 am to 12 pm
  • February 11th - 11 am to 12 pm
  • March 3rd - 11 am to 12 pm
  • March 4th - 11 am to 12 pm

Substitutes must be 13 years of age or older, be responsible, and be trustworthy.  Further, your child must be courteous, clean, and able to following the instructions of the snack bar managers. 

Your child will need to provide the following information during the session:

  1. Name
  2. Mobile Number
  3. Email Address

This information will be distributed to all the parents in the league so that your child can be contacted by parents looking for substitutes for their snack bar volunteer shifts.

General snack bar duties and responsibilities include:

  • Taking customer orders
  • Preparing and serving food and drinks
  • Processing payments and mentally calculating change for customers
  • Cleaning & restocking the snack bar 

Substitutes will be paid twenty ($20) dollars per shift (typically 2 1/2 - 3 hours) by the parent requesting the substitute.  The league does not pay the substitute.  The substitute will also receive a medium soda during their shift.
